ABOUT JULIE
Meet Julie Meyer: A Trusted Guide Bridging Healthcare, Holistic Wellness, and Purpose
Julie Meyer, RN, BSN, PHN is a devoted mother of two boys—her “Jewels”—and a nurse with nearly 18 years of experience across a wide range of healthcare settings. Her background includes medical-surgical and neuro ICU student nurse, acute care telemetry, adult and elderly home health, allergy and asthma clinics, hospice and end-of-life care, high-risk disease case management, Medicare and Medicaid systems, service coordination for ADL and IADL support from infancy to end of life, and private duty pediatric nursing.
Through these roles, Julie witnessed firsthand the gaps in today’s healthcare system—where patients often feel rushed, overwhelmed, and unsure how to advocate for themselves. That experience shaped her passion for helping women better understand their health, their stories, and their next steps.
Julie is the founder of
Graceful Aging Now
(DBA Be You by Julie), where she offers holistic health education, coaching, and advocacy support rooted in her signature
5-Step BE YOU Method. Her work integrates movement, nutrition, mindset, and faith-informed reflection to help women connect the dots between symptoms, lifestyle, stress, and life experiences—while staying firmly within ethical and legal boundaries.
Julie does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe; instead, she educates, assesses patterns, and empowers clients to engage more confidently with their healthcare providers.
A lifelong learner, Julie graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science and an Associate in Art and holds multiple certifications in medical aesthetics. She is also an author, speaker, and contributor to Wealthy in Wisdom: Stories of Proverbs 31 Women Leading the Way, sharing her journey of faith, resilience, and transformation.
Beyond healthcare, Julie is a creative spirit and talented singer-songwriter with a background in youth music programs and choirs. She is also a philanthropist supporting brick kiln ministries in Pakistan, reflecting her heart for service and justice.
Julie believes that healing is deeply personal, wisdom grows through experience, and that each woman was created with intention and purpose by God. Through her work, she invites women to slow down, listen, and grow into who they were always meant to be—whole, informed, and supported.
